This guide shows you how to submit articles for consideration to be published on the Guernsey Finance website.
1. Log in to your BD listing
- Navigate to the ‘Business Directory’ button in the top right corner of the Guernsey Finance website (guernseyfinance.com) and select ‘Manage your Listing’.
- Sign in using your username/password.
2. Check your Key Contacts
- Only those listed as a Key Contact can be tagged as an author of an article. If the person you want to author an article is not listed here, you can create a new key contact by clicking ‘Create New Contact’.
3. Uploading an article
- Click ‘View Business’ and scroll to the bottom of the page to the section ‘Latest Articles’. Once you have uploaded an article, you will be able to view and manage them here.
- Click ‘Create New Article’ in the bottom right corner and fill out the page with as much information as possible.
- Once you have completed this page and clicked ‘Save’, your article will be sent to the team at Guernsey Finance for approval.
4. Finding your article
- Once your article has been approved, it will be uploaded to the Industry resources section of the Guernsey Finance website. You can find this by clicking ‘Industry resources’ at the top of the website and then clicking ‘Industry News’.
Content guidelines
We want to highlight and amplify stories about Guernsey as an international finance centre and content that aligns with Guernsey Finance’s mission to promote and connect Guernsey to global markets. We reserve the right to decline articles if we consider they do not align with our mandate.
Therefore, we cannot accept the following types of news:
· Content from authors outside of the Bailiwick of Guernsey
· Content that promotes jurisdictions other than Guernsey
· Speculation on the outcome of jurisdictional assessments
· Any form of political lobbying
· Information that could mislead investors or contain inaccurate information about financial products, services, or market conditions
· Investment or financial advice
· Confidential information that could compromise client confidentiality or business operations
· Unverified claims that have not been thoroughly verified and could be considered speculative or false
· Offensive or inappropriate material
We aim to process submissions for approval or rejection within 10 working days.
If you have submitted an article that has been rejected and believe this to be incorrect as per the guidelines above, please contact the Communications Team on [email protected], and we will be pleased to review it on a case-by-case basis.
