Connect with our delegation at our private wealth roadshow in Singapore to take part in discussions on managing changing families and the benefits of Guernsey’s extensive private wealth sector.

Rupert Pleasant, Guernsey Finance Chief Executive, will be joined by Joanna Caen, Partner at Carey Olsen, Jo Stoddart, Director at Locate Guernsey, Jacob Cockcroft, Chief Commercial Officer at Butterfield, David Gilmour, Group Managing Director at Imperium and Paul Blackwell, Client Engagement Director at Praxis.

The delegation will host meetings and a roundtable lunch exploring what makes Guernsey a globally recognized leader in private wealth, as well as attending the STEP Asia conference on 12 and 13 November.

At the conference, Guernsey representative Joanna Caen will present a session titled ‘The flexibility of the non-intervention principle: when does the Court decide to do more than bless a Trustee's decision?’

This 30-minute session will explore the circumstances in which Courts have accepted trustees' surrender of discretion and/or taken a more interventionist approach.

Together, the delegation will share their expertise exploring how the macro situation facing families, including new industries of wealth generation and complex family relationships, require innovative solutions to wealth planning in both products and customer service.

To find out more about what Guernsey has to offer in this key market, please book a meeting with our International Business Development Director James Crawford
