Alan Bougourd

Guernsey born and educated, Alan has over 20 years’ experience working in the Guernsey financial services industry. He joined Skipton Building Society’s offshore deposit taker and Channel Island mortgage lender from Barclays Private Clients International Limited where he was Country Manager and Head of Woolwich Guernsey. Skipton Building Society is the fourth largest in the UK with over £15 billion assets.
Alan achieved his UMIST BSc (Hons) in Financial Services through the Guernsey Business School and his Bournemouth University MSc in Corporate Governance through the GTA University Centre. He is also a Chartered Director.
Alan is a former Chairman of the Association of Guernsey Banks and is currently the deputy chairman of the Guernsey International Business Association and a Trustee of the GTA University Centre.
